Homeward Bound.
For this painting I have attempted to be more abstract, using colours boldly, I imagined these horsemen, riding home chatting after a long day on the foxhunt, a few loyal hounds are with them, depicting the bond that foxhunters have with their dogs.
I have put evening sunshine in with indian yellow, the background is burnt sienna and I have scraped the trees in with my palette knife.
I have again attempted to produce the feeling of movement, by the positions of the horsemen, as always I paint for you, and hope that my renditions appeal to my loyal supporters and the public at large.
